Bobi Wine declares presidential bids after Bugiri victory

Kyadondo East member of parliament who also doubles as the Ghetto president Hon Robert Kyagulanyi commonly known as Bobi Wine will contest for Uganda presidency come 20121.

The plan was a revealed by Mityana municipality MP Hon Zaake Francis Butebi who has been traversing the country who has been traversing the country with man from Kyamokya.

This comes after Bobi Wine defeated NRA bush war heroes Kizza Besigye and
Yoweri Kaguta Museveni in Bugiri Municipality in an election that saw JEEMA gets its first member of parliament in the 10th parliament.

Zaake said Bobi Wine’s desire to contest for presidency has been his long-term ambitions and added that he has not doubt that he will win the election and becomes the first Ugandan musician to be president.

The musician turned politician has been house hold name since winning MP seat in 2017 after winning a race with involved Besigye supporting FDC candidate Apollo Katinti.
Zaake said the Bugiri wins for Asuman Basalirwa gave Bobi Wine more hope especially after Basalirwa was earlier written off by many analysts for his poor performance in the 2016 race in which he got less than 300 votes in the same area which is now Bugiri municipality.

He added that they are going to embark on drawing road maps and planning on how to build structure for the Ghetto president stating that, the main reasons elections have been rigged in Uganda because of lack of grass root structures.
He also noted that, Bobi Wine has recieved promising reception throughout the country and the only thing remaining is to turn those supporters into voters.

He urged the youths to spearhead the mobilization process for Bobi Wine because he stands for their interests.

He clarified that, the supports for Bobi Wine can not be underestimated following what is currently on ground expressing hope that come 2021, Uganda will see the first peaceful change of government in history.
