Bobi Wine given strong and final warning

The Makerere Community pastor Martin Ssempa has issued strong and final warning to Kyadondo East member of parliament Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu popularly known as Bobi Wine to stop taking God’s property and faith for granted.

Appearing on local radio the KFM, Ssempa said it is worrying that Bobi Wine has ignored all warnings and decided to remain defiant despite being given several warning to back off God’s property (Tuliyambala Engule song).

Ssempa stressed that Bobi Wine should heed to the advice and unconditionally leave the song if he wants to live in peace.

“We shall not allow Bobi Wine to undermine our God when we are seeing. He needs to be so careful, I first warned former Libya’s President Muammar Gaddafi who wanted to emasculate Christianity here, but I want to ask where is he now? That man should not joke with God, this is not a laughing matter, Talukwatako!” Ssempa said.

He went on to explain that Bobi Wine has all it takes to compose new song without neccessarily coming into conflict with the Church.

“I personally have no problem with Bobi Wine as an individual and his political career but the same way he fought when the Constitution of Uganda was being amended in 2017, is the same way we are fighting for our song, Leave God’s song alone, compose yours!” Ssempa added.

Ssempa has since cautioned the legislator over his conduct warning him against politicizing the song of God.

Bobi Wine on his part insist he has not not done anything wrong hence no need to apologise or to apologise over the song.
