Details of Besigye, Bobi Wine talk left other oppositions furious

People power headed by Kyadondo East member of parliament Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine and People Government headed by Kizza Besigye on Friday met at Bobi Wine residence at Magere.

The leaders from the two camps held a closed door meeting leaving many Ugandans wondering what transpired in the meeting.

Info256 has learnt that Besigye and Bobi Wine held talk on how to proceed in the fight against ruling National Resistance Movement.

The delegation led by Besigye comprises of Kampala Lord Mayor Erias Lukwago and Mukono municipality member of parliament Betty Nambooze.

“Yesterday, I was very pleased and honored to host my friends and comrades in the struggle, Dr. Kizza Besigye, Lord Mayor Erias Lukwago, and Hon. Betty Nambooze,” Bobi Wine said.

According to Bobi Wine, the meeting was majorly about sharing experience in the struggle they are are undertaking.

“They paid me a visit at home in Magere, and welcomed me back from Luzira prison. Since all of us have been visitors of Luzira prison at different times in our struggle for a free Uganda, we had a good time reminiscing about our experiences at the prison,” the Ghetto president said.

He added; “We also had a very good conversation about where the people’s struggle for liberation stands, and what we must do together to complete the task ahead. What we all agree about is that Museveni’s regime of blood and national shame has never been as vulnerable, weak and utterly exposed as it is today. We only need to mobilise our people for the final push and victory will be guaranteed.”

The meeting has however, been received in bad faith by Mugisha Muntu camp and DP bloc since it was interpreted by them as a move by Besigye to form alliance with Bobi Wine.

Boths Muntu and DP bloc have been in talks with Bobi Wine for possible alliance come 2021 general election.
