Ex FDC boss appointed Kampala boss as president Museveni finalises plans to take over Masaka from disorganised oppositions

Former Rubaga North KCCA Lord councillor Hawa Ndege Namugenyi, who was sidelined by opposition Forum for Democratic Change party for joining ruling National Resistance Movement (NRM) party in impeaching Kampala Lord Mayor Erias Lukwago has eaten big in the recent Residence District Commissioners (RDCs) appointment.

She was finally rewarded for job well done and appointed as RCC for Kampala Central Division by president Yoweri Kaguta Museveni.

Ndege who feared facing the angry electorates of Rubaga again in 2016 went and vied for Kalungu district woman member of parliament seat but was unfortunately rejected by the NRM party in the party primsaying with claims that she was am opposition mole and wasn’t good enough to deserve their vote.

Also on the list is Sam Kutesa’s archrival and Sembabule former Councilor Isha Ntumwa (of the Joy Kabatsi/Sekikubo camp) who has been made RDC Mityana district.

After studying the current infighting between East Africa Legislative Assembly MP Mukasa Mbidde and Masaka municipality member of parliament Mathias Mpuuga by posting
Herman Sentongo who nearly defeated Mpuuga in 2016.

As an area RDC it will be easier for Sentongo to capitalise on opposition divisions and increase his chances of getting that seat for the NRM party come 2021.

Also on the list is Racheal Adyango, a sister to influential Usuk County member of parliament Peter Ogwang, coming in as Nebbi deputy RDC & Mariam Nalubega coming in as RDC for Lwengo district
