FDC Bruce Musema paralyses Arua town as campaigns begins

Opposition Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) has yesterday paralyzed Arua town as he kicked off his campaigns for Arua municipality seat.

The seat fell vacant following  assassination of Ibrahim Abiriga in June this this year by unknown gunmen travelling on motor cycle.

The race which attracted 12 candidates will be decided on August 15. Different candidates have started canvassing votes among the residents.

On Tuesdays, FDC candidate Bruce Musema Mudathir who came second in 2016 spent better better part of his time in the municipality talking to various groups of people.

Hundreds of people joined him as they took over the whole streets of Arua . Many people who were  disappointed with dismissal performance of the late Abiriga said   the time is now to redeem the municipality from the what the term as shame Abiriga caused them during his tenure as the area member of parliament.
