How it happened, president Museveni official car vandalized in Arua

President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni official car has been vandalized by angry supporters in Arua municipality. Chaos engulfed Arua town following the conclusion of the completion of campaign.

Eye witness said the chaos started after president Yoweri Museveni convey knocked a woman breaking her left leg. Angered by the event the women decided to block the road demanding for compensation for the injured woman. However, the Special Force Command soldiers who is responsible for guarding the president started beating up the already charged residents promoting the locals to retareite by pelting stones at presidential official car. One young man grabbed a big stone and hit one of presidential official car shuttering its rear windscreen.

The president was not in the car during the incident.

By the time of incident, the president was heading to Radio Pacis where he was scheduled to hold radio talk show to convince the population to vote for NRM candidates.

Several opposition supporters including Kyadondo East member of parliament Kyagulanyi Robert, Gerald kyaruhanga of Ntungamo municipality, hon Zaake and Paul Mwiru were arrested.

The incident also led to the death of Bobi Wine driver who shot while seated in Bobi Wine car. Journalists were also beaten in the chaos.
