Former Prime Minister Amama Mbabazi excited people who turned up for introduction ceremony of his daughter when he said he want to meet president Yoweri Museveni over 2016 general election.
Amama who came third in the election said he wants to ask President Kaguta Museveni if he voted for him during the 2016 election.
“I’l get time and ask President Kaguta Museveni if he voted for me,” said Mbabazi.
Amama added that he is aware his close friend who replaced him as Prime Minister Dr. Ruhakana Rugunda voted and even campaigned against him but that it would not get into their relationship.
Both president Museveni and Prime Minister attended the function which is held at Amama resident in Kololo, Kampala.
The trio were friends for the last 50 years though Amama later fell out with Museveni after declaring his presidential bid in 2015 but he maintained his friendship with his successor Ruhakana Rugunda.
Amama later contested as an independent and came third after Museveni and Besigye. He challenged the election results in supreme court which he later lost also.
Amama daughter Bridget Kuhingira got married to Andile Ramaphosa a son of South Africa presiedent Cyril Ramaphosa.
Both Cyril Ramaphosa and his wife Dr. Tshepo Ramaphosa attended the ceremony which attracted several dignitaries and guests from across the country.
