Kadaga attacks sports minister for failing sports in the country

The Speaker of parliament Kadaga Rebecca who was the guest of honer of night of warned the Uganda Sports Press Association (USPA) organizers for not obeying national anthems and instead resorted to playing audio remix of the anthem which she said it is criminal case by law and action would be taken seriously if this was parliamentary floor and this alone woulds end USPA committee liable to appear before before disciplinary committee.

The tough talking speaker later ordered the MC of the night to sing the national anthem orally before the congregation would sit to hear her speech.

She announced the lucky number 048  who was the winner and walked away with a little prize of sport jersey.

The speaker also announced the first Uganda’s silver medalist winner David Emong as the best sports man of the year 2018 for making country proud

She thanked all other sport men and ladies for their great effort having contributed towards the sport industry and above all Emong who walked away with 32 inch flat Televisions set.

In conclusions Kadaga said the minister of sports have not done enough in developing sport sectors in Uganda despite being allocated big sum of money by parliament. She told the ministry that sports can help market the country and also bring in foreign exchange.
