Kyadondo East member of parliament Robert Kyagulanyi also known as Bobi Wine was smiling ears to ears after Police had given him go ahead to carry on with preparations for his Easter Monday Busabala concert.
Bobi Wine was last week cleared for the show but under strict rules and guidelines.
People Power Movement boss had earlier threatened that he would hold his concert with or without police permission reasoning that he had already informed them are required under the law.
In a letter dated April 15, Police Director of Operations Asuman Mugenyi cleared the People Power Movement boss to hold the show under strict guidelines.
“The show must strictly not be politically motivated in nature and must be one in the environment of law and order. Police will not hesitate to stop the function at any time even if other authorities have okayed the same if proceedings breach the guidelines,” Bobi Wine warned.
Bobi Wine was further informed that his show will continue as long as the organisers and the artist follow the rules and guidelines issued by the police for each show.
“You are implored to abide by the above and prepare in advance for each of the events to enhance safety and security for the masses that will attend such celebrations” part of the letter adds.
The empowered Bobi Wine in a media statement confirmed the receipt of the tough clearance letter from the police authority and called on his supporters to turn up in big numbers and support him on Easter Monday.
He assured Ugandans that all the necessary preparations are ongoing to ensure a successful concert on Eater Monday.
The excitement was however, short lived after police on Sunday evening made a U turn and cancelled the already cleared show.
They cited security concerns stating that the previous shows organized by Bobi Wine resulted into serious security problems to the country.
