Kiconco break silence on Lusanja eviction saga, explains the next moves

People in Lusanja has had bad memories of the year 2018 after more than 200 households were few weeks ago evicted by businessman Medard Kiconco.

The issue became a national concern with several people including members of parliament and opposition politicians came out to criticise the manner in which the eviction was carried out.

The issue has however, taken another twist after Tycoon Kiconco who allegedly came out and claimed that, he has never evicted anyone in Lusanja.

Addressing a press conference in Kampala, Kiconco said the only piece of land from where the eviction took place was in Ssekanyonyi in Kampala district and not Lusanja in Wakiso as being reported by media.

“My land is on plot 671, block 206 in Ssekanyonyi, Kampala district and not at Lusanja in Wakiso district as being claimed,”Kiconco said.

He added that the eviction order he got was in reference to that piece of land measuring 3.69 hectares wich he claimed he bought from one Paulo Katabazi.

His statement comes days after the high court quashed the earlier evidence ruling that, the court lacks jurisdiction.
