The Executive Director of Kampala Capital City Authority Mrs Jenifer Musisi has revealed one of the major challenges she faced while at city hall.
Musisi who had poor working relationships with the Kampala Lord Mayor Erias Lukwago resigned early last month and will be quitting her office in December.
Making her presentation to the parliament, Musisi who worked at city hall since 2011 said vandalism and theft are some of the greatest challenges.
“High levels of vandalism and poor attitude are some of the big challenges facing the development of Kampala,” Musisi said.
Jennifer Musisi further reported that Ugandans have vandalized street lights, stolen solar batteries and cut off security light poles among other things in her presentation to MPs led by the Speaker, Rebecca Kadaga on her seven year term at the top of the Authority.
