Police has denied a social media report doing the rounds that it’s canceled the Kyarenga Concert of MP Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine that is scheduled for next weekend at the Mandela National Stadium, Namboole.
Police said though they they have allowed the music concert to go on as planned, political related activities will not be allowed during the show.
“We have not cancelled Bobi Wine’s Kyarenga Concert…Those are just rumors spread by some propagandists. The show will be there. All we want is Bobi Wine to organise his show peacefully.” Police spokesperson Emilian Kayima
The statement comes after several social media platforms have been posting the statement stating that the planned concert of Bobi Wine which is attract a lot of people have been cancelled by police.
Bobi Wine who recently returned from medical treatment in United States after sustaining severe injuries following Arua municipalities by-election brawl will be holding his first music since the incident.
