United States singer Kanye West and his better half Kim Kardashian are reportedly scheduled to make another trip to Uganda as early as next year.
The couple are expected to be in the country in February as revealed by state minister for Tourism Hon Godfrey Kiwanda Suubi.
It is indicated that the duo will be appointed Ugandan good will tourism ambassadors.
The minister made the promising revelation while unveiling this year’s Christmas Tulambule Campaign which is aimed at attracting Ugandan travelers to local tourist destinations during the festive season.
“We are recruiting Good Will Tourism Ambassadors. Our brother Kanye and his wife Kim are coming back in February.” Kiwanda stated.
Kanye West and his wife Kim Kardashian were in Uganda this month for video shooting of the Kanye’s latest album ” Yandhi.”
He later visited State House Entebbe where he promised to set up regional tourism school in Uganda.
Speaking at the festive tourism launch, Minister Kiwanda revealed that the sector has a target of attracting 4million tourists by the year 2020.
“This is why we need these good will tourism ambassadors. We need everybody who can offer anything to come on board,” he added.
The minister revealed that next month on 7th, the minister will be unveiling three other celebrity good will ambassadors, among them socialite Zari.
